I was there for a couple of weeks in total at the month of July, 2006. I was already going to spend one year of exchange-program in germany, so i decided to see a bit of europe before actually getting there. My arrival was to Paris cuz I've got a very good friend there (Michel).
I spent these days mostly by my own wandering around the city, taing pictures... going to museums. I went on a drinkin night with michel and his friends, I also spent a couple of days with Marlene's family (a fsweet french girl who i met at a hostel in Italy). This couple of days were quite entertaining. I like france a lot. People there are warm, stylish, they speak nice.
Ok, that's it for now. Peace n rock n roll

]]>Back in summer 2005, i went to southern mexico, to be part of a "camping group" in a community hidden in the sierra. The thing was try to help the community with what they wanted us to help. It was one great month.
My team was the coolest one... well, for me they were. I went to flee from worries i had raised in tje city, went cuz i was heart beaten... cuz i needed to make peace with myself.
It worked out pretty well... By teh end of the month i was exaust... I had one day to go back to my city, sleep a bit, and go back to college. I remember i didn't feel the trip back home. I got a ride with the parents of another friend who also went there and that was it...
I want to go back soon. Maybe same community, maybe another one... I want to breath that air.

]]>it all began when we were 15 years old... me and my mates. Pako has this holiday home at chapala lake and we went to slack there for a week or so... since then we've been going once a year either to the lake, or to the beach to camp... or both of them.
Its a really good vacation, and everytime we make it there's new people that come with us... sadly i couldnt be there for Xmas 2007... this time they moved to La paz, in baja-california... i can assure that most likely this new destination will be the new regular backpacking point 4 me and my mates...
I cant wait to get back to mexico... to feel the sun in my skin... to meet my mates again, To rock on...and backpack with them, once again.

]]>Before actually getting to cancun we spent some time in several Mayan ruins. The first night we went to the shitiest club in town, but actually had a lot of fun... a night worth forgetting. next night, we couldn't get to a table-dance hole... so we went to cocobongo, we got so wasted... next day were supposed to go on an excursion with mano's family (one of my mates) but couldn't bare the headache... we ended up eating improvised sandwiches at a bench and feeling like shit on the ferry back... On another excursion we got a ride from an old american couple and got a free entrance to a sea-turtle place... we simply sneaked in.
I liked the most Tulum. The sand is beautiful... it has the most decaying mayan ruins i've ever seen... you can tell this civilization was getting to its end... its also got a pretty cool beach with not many tourists.. next to the crowded one... we just had to swim a bit and/or walk a rock passage... like 20mts long...
Yeah! i loved the trip
peace

]]>Does everyone have a trip that remains back in the memory, sometimes a bit blurry, but añways memorable? I mean... I was young and dumb at the time... And spent the craziest days of my life then... I remember well my best friend in Ca. (also mexican) we're still in touch.
I remember lonely nights walking from my place to the Oratorium just to spend some hours listening to a discman watching the lights of the town...
I remember muxu, the cat that lived with me... i'd never liked cats before... actually, i've never done afterwards. this cat was cool.
I remember the fireworks at la ronde, the jazz festival... it was the weirdest thing... it was a pretty cool festival, but it was odd being so many miles away from my country and getting to see mostly latin bands... some of which normally play in really local places back home.
Well... i'd rather not bore ya with this... I'll write some more of this trip as soon as i get sure of telling a story that's cool to read
